Our mini jazz festival day is back again this July at the Chapel Allerton Snooker Club car park.

Bigger and better than ever,  hosting a live music day with stalls, music, catering and a licensed bar that is free entry for everyone. It is a fantastic community event, featuring six live Jazz bands comprising well-known local and national jazz musicians and singers plus introducing new emerging talent from Leeds.

A variety of different bands will adorn the stage between 12.30pm and 7pm  coverng a little of  everything – from Blues, New Orleons, Mainsteam, Standards, Pop and also a taste of Caribbean Jazz from headline act ‘Pan jumby’.

Also, in this sunny seated space, are an array of craft stalls – hand-made Jewellery from Headingley, candles, handmade Indolgence vegan chocolates, Afternoon Teas and lots more, plus catering from Castleford based Ambassador Catering events and, of course, the indoor licensed bar at the newly decorated Snooker Club. What’s not to enjoy?

All we need is the weather to stay fine for us to enjoy a fantastic day, but should it rain our artists can perform indoors and we will bring it all inside inline with current government restrictions. Mask wearing indoors is recommended though not obligatory.
